I'm katie. I am fourteen and love to write. For a fourteen year old, I am quite complex. I can't say that I'm not like everyother teenager, but I do lack some of the traits most do. For instance, I'm not nearly as ignorant as most kids my age, and I see the world quite differently than most. Sure, this could all sound like any other kid, but I'm not anyother kid...

I love to write and read. Currently, I'm working on a book about the ever so heavy topic of suicide. Music is a huge part of my life. My family has a band that I play the mandolin, guitar, and bass in. Not the bass guitar, the upright bass. It's not some lame rock band, but a bluegrass band. Sometimes I write songs, but that only happens once upon a bad experiance. For some reason or other, the happy things that happen to me don't leave as big a mark as the sad, and angry ones.
